The Environmental Law Clinic opened its doors in the Fall of 2022, and is an interdisciplinary clinic that addresses environmental law and policy problems on behalf of individual clients and organizations including environmental groups, nonprofits and community organizations. The ELC covers the full range of environmental issues but focuses predominantly on environmental and energy justice concerns in Northeast Ohio. Miranda will provide more information on the types of cases the ELC covers, how the ELC trains third year law students for their soon-to-be new careers practicing law, and provide some highlights of the work done by Clinic Interns over the course of the Environmental Law Clinic's first year open.
