"Mental Health First Aid" As a part of 2025 Nurses Week programming, we are pleased to offer virtual Mental Health First Aid training. This course will be taught by:
Mental health first aid can help you to improve your mental health literacy, increase confidence in helping people in distress, and reduce the stigma around mental health issues. More information can be found online. Mental Health First Aid is an early intervention public education program that teaches adults:
All faculty and staff are invited to attend. There is no cost to this course which is divided into two parts: Two hours of virtual pre-work and six hours of virtual classroom work. Continuing Education credit is being sought. |
