Meet CWRU Alumni Venture Fund Fellow , a mechanical engineering student at CWRU who’s passionate about innovation, design, and real-world problem solving. Amos works as a research engineer in a worm robotics lab and is a member of Case’s VTOL Drone Team. He’ll be spending this summer as a manufacturing engineering intern at Lincoln Electric.
Amos brings a strong foundation of experience to CWRU AVF, having previously worked as a manufacturing engineering co-op at a Nestlé prepared foods factory for 11 months and interned at McMaster-Carr last summer.
What excites you most about CWRU AVF?
“The aspect of CWRU AVF that excites me most is the exposure I gain to new technologies and industries. By working at CWRU AVF, I get to research and analyze companies developing cutting-edge technologies in a variety of fields. I've found that this enables me to make better design choices and come up with more creative solutions to the engineering problems I face in work or extracurriculars.”
Amos brings curiosity, technical insight, and a creative mindset to every CWRU AVF team he’s a part of. He has also written founder profiles for our portfolio companies NasaClip, Hemex Health, and Modern Intelligence.
