This performance reflects the diversity of the featured composers, including three women (women composers are still a relatively small percentage of the professional composer population), and brings attention to newer orchestral music that extends beyond a typical classical performance.

- Concerto No. 1, Movement II: the Golden Hour by Lilyanne Dorilas, CWRU violinist and Concerto Competition winner (first winner to compose and perform their own piece for the competition)
